Using INSPIRES to Support Integration of Engineering Design in Science and Technology Classrooms
Welcome to Engineering Teacher Pedagogy: Using INSPIRES to Support Integration of Engineering Design in Science and Technology Classrooms, a 4-year 3 million dollar research project sponsored by the National Science Foundation to support the integration of engineering design in biology and technology classrooms. Bringing together partners from UMBC engineering and education and the Baltimore County Public School System, our goal is to strengthen teachers’ ability to integrate engineering design concepts and practices with science learning to support the BCPS teaching and learning framework and prepare globally competitive students.
